Nigerians living in any part of USA can open a ShipToNaija account. To register on ShipToNaija website, you must:
1.Have an email address; and
2.A phone number you can receive notifications and shipment updates.
- Can I know my shipping cost before I ship?
Yes, you can use our "Get a quote" tool to instantly get the shipping cost of your items even before buying. We have developed two options to make this easy for you:
Option 1 – Use this when you know the dimensions and weight of the package you want to ship. Simply enter the "from address" (this is typically the city where your items you want to ship are) and the destination city. The system will instantly provide you with the shipping quote.
Option 2 – Use this to get the shipping quote for most common items. Simply enter the "from address" (this is typically the city where your items you want to ship are) and the destination city, and select the item and quantity to desire to ship. The system will instantly provide you with the shipping quote.
Option 3 – Use this when shipping a care from USA to Nigeria. Our automobile quote tool (shipping cost calculator) will enable you select commonly shipped vehicles and get an estimated shipping cost.
- What is your minimum shipping cost from USA to Nigeria?
Your shipping cost will depend on what location you are shipping, the weight, dimensions and destination in Nigeria?
1.Our minimum charge from Houston to Nigeria is: $3.99
2.Our minimum charge from Atlanta to Nigeria is: $4.09
- What does your 100% guaranteed delivery cover?
When we say 100% guaranteed delivery or your money back, we mean it. Our guaranteed delivery is our promise for all items you are shipping, and money back policy covers your:
Total declared cost of item: This is the value as seen on the invoice of purchase for items you have purchased from online stores or where the invoice is not available (usually for old personal items), the values you have assigned to all items in your shipment. Should anything happen and the items are not delivered or lost in transit, you will be fully compensated for the total declared value of your whole shipment.
Total shipping cost: This is the total cost you paid us to ship your whole package. So in simple terms all your cost of shipping is also paid back to you.
NOTE: All other companies will only compensate you up to $100. We compensate your 100%.
- How can we make this guarantee?

1.Developed a unique warehouse addressing system that assigns each customer a unique warehouse identifier. This unit number identifies you, your package destination and can be used to track every single item you are shipping both online and physically in our warehouse. This is a solution used by only ShipToNaija.
2.As items come in, it is immediately inventoried and uploaded into your warehouse within 24 working hours. You are alerted and have the option to verify all items been shipped are correct.
3.Secured sealing tapes on all ShipToNaija boxes ensures that you will easily know if any box has been tampered with while in transit.
4.Our secured delivery method ensures that items are moved in crated and secured boxes from one location to another, reducing the possibility of tampering to almost zero.
5.Physical and online verification is done in our partner locations where applicable to ensure that nothing was tampered with while in transit.
- What shipments are covered?
All your shipment moved from USA through ShipToNaija is guaranteed, whether it is shipped via Air Freight or Ocean Freight.
- What is declared value?
Declared value is the amount you tell us that your shipment is worth before it leaves your assigned warehouse. You can view this before paying for any shipment in your warehouse. It is advisable to use the purchase cost of the items so as to get compensated fully in case of loss.
- Do l have to pay for Insurance?
No, you do not pay any insurance. Based on our shipping volume and extremely low loss rate, we have a group policy that covers every customer on a yearly basis.
- What happens if my whole shipment is missing?
With a 99.9% success delivery rate, this hardly happens. But should it happen, simply call our customer service or email us at email@example.com and we will process your claim once it’s verified.
- What happens if an item is missing?
We refund you the cost of the item plus the shipping cost of the item or replace and have the item shipped based on the declared value updated.
- How long does it take to process a claim?
It takes just 3 days for verified claims to be settled.
- I have items in my house to ship to Nigeria, what do I do?
That’s easy, simply log in to your account on ShipToNaija and schedule a pickup or if you are within Houston-Texas you can drop it off at our US office.
- How do I pay for my shipment?
You can pay into our account or pay us at the point of drop off in our Houston Office.
- How long will it take for items to be delivered in Nigeria?
The transit time for your item depends on if you are shipping via air or sea. For air, we deliver from 3 – 4 business days, while our sea shipping takes 4 weeks.
- I am not in Houston/Atlanta, how do I ship with you?
You can schedule a pickup from your locations, by providing the details of the package e.g. weight, dimensions of the package, location of the package and the pickup time. We will have the package picked as scheduled.
- How often do you ship via ocean?
Our ocean shipping is weekly. Transit time for ocean shipping is 4 weeks from the day container sails.
- How long those it take for my items to be cleared from Nigerian Customs?
Customs clearing for Air shipping takes 3 business days and 5 to 6 business days for Ocean.
